Rest In Peace

It's been so depressing lately. Very influential figures have died in the past weeks.

1. Michael Jackson (1958-2009): I am sad only because I realized that Michael Jackson was my first hero. I looked up to him. He could do no wrong and he epitomized style and creativity. Yes, We're all aware of events (true or not true) that tarnished his reputation. The fact of the matter is, he's dead now. People need to respect his contribution to music and our society. Do some of you stupid fucks honestly think music videos would be that big of a deal if it were not for him? There's no way in hell you think Kanye West was that original for basically jocking almost everything Michael took a risk on when it was NEW, do you? If so, you're an idiot and have no creditbility to say anything. I'm appalled at how people could try to discredit this man's craft as insignificant to the industry as a whole. You idiot fucks who think Lil Wayne was original for dabbling in rock music. Well, I've got news for all of you, Michael did it all before them. All of them. And now, he's dead. So a part of me is mourning that the real King of Pop is dead and the other part wants to personally attack everyone who won't appreciate his life and respect that he's dead. Don't cross me.
2. Farrah Fawcett (1947-2009): You had the most beautiful hair i had ever seen as a kid. So much, that i secretly wanted it.
3. VIBE Magazine (1993-2009) : Although this magazine was losing alot of it's edge. I still supported it. So much that i renewed my yearly subscription; only to find out that you guys are going under completely?!?! What kind of shit is that? Can a nigga get a refund quick? Money is so tight.

Rest In Peace. You will all be deeply missed.
